AI spreadsheets
From a pile of data to a clearer decision.
Organize Excel and CSV files, analyze data and create charts or financial models in GNJ AI. Make assumptions explicit and get a spreadsheet you can keep using.
Original demonstration
RUNWAY · Explore your next move
RUNWAY uses sample data for a twelve-month cash-flow scenario. Change starting cash, revenue, growth and costs, then export the current scenario as CSV. A separate Excel template includes formulas and a chart. Edit its assumptions in Excel; it does not inherit changes made in the browser.
From brief to result
- 01
Upload Excel or CSV files. Explain the columns, units and question you want answered.
- 02
Ask for cleanup, comparisons or a model. Keep original data and label assumptions.
- 03
Download the spreadsheet and check key formulas, edge cases and totals before refining it.
What you can make
- A workbook with structure, formulas and charts.
- Visible assumptions and calculations you can inspect and adjust.
- Turn the analysis into a web dashboard when you want an interactive result.
Combine these sales CSVs into Excel. Summarize by month and product, flag missing data and add trend charts. Keep the source sheets and formulas.
What to bring
- Provide Excel or CSV files with column definitions, currency, units, date range and the dimensions you want to group by.
- Identify join keys such as order or product IDs. Explain how duplicate rows, missing values and refunds should be handled.
- State the question and output format. For example: compare monthly product revenue in Excel, retaining source data, formulas and a trend chart.
Review and refine the result
- Reconcile totals, row counts and date coverage with the source before interpreting trends. Check for double counting and missing months.
- Change an assumption and check that formulas and charts respond. Inspect how percentages, missing values and zeros are handled.
- Keep source sheets and assumption notes. Request corrections by worksheet, cell or calculation rule in the original conversation.
FAQ
A few good questions
What is the difference between Excel and CSV output?
An Excel workbook can contain multiple sheets, formulas, formatting and charts. CSV stores text data for one table and does not preserve those workbook features. Request .xlsx with editable formulas when you want to keep adjusting a model.
Do changes in the demo carry over to the Excel download?
The RUNWAY CSV export contains the current browser scenario. The Excel download is a separate template with the initial sample assumptions. Change its input cells in Excel to recalculate the formulas and chart.
Can I combine files and identify data problems?
Upload the files and ask for consistent columns, joins on specified keys and a list of missing values, duplicates or conflicting definitions. Explain or confirm the merge rules: identical column names do not always mean identical data.
